Welcome to The Keepsake Cottage!
We are so excited to announce our
new Scrapbook Cottage!
Our brand new cottage offers affordable, unique and comfortable weekend retreats for the scrapbook enthusiast. The cottage features 7 whimsical and cheerful bedrooms with 2 comfy twin beds in each room and plenty of room for your scrapbooking needs. We are not just for scrapbookers – quilters, beading or retreat group meetings are great ways to use the cottage as well!
Our cottage is located in Kent, WA, just minutes from the fabulous Scrapbook
Nook. The cottage boasts a panoramic view of the majestic Mt. Rainier, which just adds to the wonderful atmosphere we’ve created to inspire you!
Cost: $175 per person for the weekend (includes all meals)

• Arrival: Friday afternoon at 2 pm
• Departure: Sunday afternoon at 4 pm
• Minimum people to book a weekend: 8 (if you don’t have 8 people, please email us and we’ll do our best to fit you in with other groups where available!)
• Saturday day croppers are always welcome: Arrive at 10 am on Saturday and crop till you drop Saturday night. Cost: $50 which includes lunch and dinner on Saturday. Limited space available!

Each cropper will have plenty of room to spread out…her own 6 ft. table and a comfortable chair. We have a large variety of cropping and cutting tools to use, Cricut machine with tons of cartridges including the new Mickey and Friends cartridge! The Revolution die cut systems with TONS of dies for you to use!

Peggy is planning the weekend Get-Aways in Monroe. Contact her for any weekends in the planning stages.

Kimberlee is hosting a weekend in May of 2010. If interested contact her to see if she has any available spots.

- Club Scrapbook
We are making a PlaneScrappers Scrapbook. If you have pictures of any club event/activity please bring them to the crops. We are looking for volunteers to create layouts for the book. The club has purchased a 12 x 12 book from Creative Memories to use as the scrapbook. This will be an on-going project. It will be a fun way to document our history as a club.

- Washington Scrapbooking Expo
The Seattle Scrapbooking Expo is scheduled for November 5-7 of 2009. It will be held at the Meydenbauer Center in Bellevue, WA. The url address is http://www.creatingkeepsakes.com/events/seattle.html. Registration is opened on August 5th at 1 pm Eastern time (10:00 am PST). The classes are out on the web to preview before registration.
